Fresh out of high school and one of the most high sought after faces on the entertainment scene, Akina Minami wowed the media in this super sexy investigator outfit to promote the upcoming release of season 4 DVD of the Sci-Fi channel cult classic “The 4400.”

Those amongst us who are science fiction fans are no doubt familiar with this series. It ran for a total of 4 seasons before being kneecapped by ongoing WGA strikes and lower than expected ratings. As far as sci-fi shows go though, this one has a fairly intriguing plot and has produced a loyal following that is actively attempting to persuade the Sci-Fi channel to resurrect it. In a nutshell, the plot deals with the mysterious reappearance of 4400 people deposited by a ‘comet’ who each disappeared from different points of time beginning in 1946. The people don’t remember anything between the time they disappeared and reappeared. Of course the government gets interested when several of the 4400 begin to discover remarkable supernatural powers such as telepathy and so a task force is assembled to deal with these 4400 beings who are understandably struggling to figure out what the hell is going on.

As one of the most popular gravure/fashion models, Minami could probably get some answers out of anybody without using that gun. Who wouldn’t want her to investigate them? Keep your eye on her as she seems to be a promising talent. But as you know, the gravure/model industry keeps churning out the latest cutest girls every year. Only time will tell if Minami indeed has something special to keep her around before she becomes the 4401th and disappears like so many other beauties.
